Lot & Line Item Template Guide - for Suppliers Follow
What is the Lot and Line Item template?
The Lot and Line Item Template is required for all Negotiations, and for RFPs and RFQs if the customer has chosen to include this tab in the event. The template used is specific to the event type. If the sourcing event has more than one scenario, suppliers will need to submit a Lot and Line Item template with adjusted pricing for each scenario they are bidding on.
To import pricing for the sourcing event, suppliers must update the Price or No Bid columns in the template.
How do I edit the Lot and Line Item template?
To edit the Lot and Line Item template with your pricing, complete the following steps:
1. Click the ‘Download Lot & Line Item template’ link on the Lots tab.
2. For each line item you are bidding on:
a. In the Price column, enter an amount in general number format (i.e. 5, not $5)
b. In the No Bid column, leave the cell empty
3. For each line item that you are not bidding on:
a. In the Price column, leave this cell empty
b. In the No Bid column, enter TRUE
4. Save the completed template to your computer in .csv format.
5. Upload the completed template to the Lots tab.
