Reviewing the RFx Specs

When you click on an event card in the Negotiate module of the Conductiv® Platform, information about the event will appear on the right.

Once you have accepted the Bidder Agreement, the event details will be available to you. This information will be organized into six tabs on the event's card.

Overview Tab

The Overview tab provides general information about the event, as well as information about your current status and response.

Commercial Terms Tab

Here, you will see all the terms that the sourcing event requires you to respond to. Although the terms are negotiable, you must respond to each one to complete this section of the sourcing event. About Commercial Terms.

Documents Tab

Here, you can download the documents that require your review and response, and upload documents requested by the buyer. About submitting requested documents.

Lots Tab

Here, you will see the line item details. You can download the Lot & Line Items worksheet and work on your pricing offline before uploading it to the Platform. About submitting pricing.

Note: Lots are not included in an RFI, so you will not see this tab in RFI events. For an RFP or RFQ, you will only see the Lots tab if the customer has chosen to utilize this feature; some customers collect pricing via the Terms or Documents sections instead.

Messaging Tab

Here, you can communicate directly with the buyer by sending and receiving messages via the Conductiv Platform. About Messaging. 

Q&A Tab

On the Q&A Tab, you will be able to post questions about the sourcing event details and read answers from the buyer. Using the Q&A Forum.

Note: The Q&A Forum will only be available if it is enabled by the buyer for the event.
